THOMAS SHANNON

Thomas Shannon is an award-winning director of photography based in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Texas. Thomas has traveled the world and grown accustomed to working both nationally and internationally. His work has won awards including NALIP, AT&T Official Selections, 2021 Certainteed Exterior Home Living Spaces Audience Selection, and the Justice Film Festival. He also shot for the Emmy-Award winning film “Warrior to Lourdes” produced by Spirit Juice Studios. 

Thomas has shot feature films as well as a television doc series, and has produced commercial and instructional work. Past clients include Reebok, Microsoft, Shell Oil Company, Filta, Comedy Central, National Geographic, Discovery Channel and others.

Thomas has done work with multiple nonprofits and humanitarian aid organizations over the years and is familiar with being on location during or after a crisis. Over the years, Thomas’s work has taken him throughout central and South America, Europe, Guatemala, Haiti, Columbia, Tanzania and the Arctic. He’s currently filming both nationally and internationally for a couple productions that are scheduled to drop within the year.
